Making Your Life More Content

Life is a daily challenge. But if you have a dream that guides your life, it’s worth the struggle. In this Noon Meditation, Goswami Kriyananda offers advice from his own long life and years of problems and perseverance. “Accept yourself, accept your life, and move on,” he says. “Accept your mind, see its flaws, polish them and move on.

Positive Self Imagery

Everyone has social anxiety. If you have a bad experience, bless the person, forgive the person, and move on. “The only way we learn to walk in this world is to stand up one more time than we fall down,” Goswami Kriyananda says. You’ll find that positive self imagery actually protects from people who seek to harm us, leading to a happier, more successful life.

Basic Kriya Yoga Principles

We are the Brahmic (creative) Principle. The secret of Life is that the most important thing is not ‘what’ we do but ‘why’ we do it. It is our intent that factors into our karmic creations.

Solving Problems

We exist in a world of imperfection. We should enjoy Life but not forget about the problems. Open up to Life and dare to dream your dream. Pay the price for it but first ask yourself if the price you pay is wise.

Health

In this Noon Meditation from September 7th, 1986, Kriyananda offers advice on how to gain and sustain health. Besides practical suggestions such as drink more water and fast once a month, he also provides more esoteric suggestions such as to fast mentally to remove negative thoughts, and how to overcome the Saturn forces in our own mind when we see them apparently directed to us from others.

Mastering Your Mind Part 3

Goswami Kriyananda presents the third of a three-part series, Mastering Your Mind, which was recorded in May and June of 2009. Kriyananda explains four key functions of our mind: A, B, C and M. They stand for Ahamkara (ego), Bhuti (the Knower or discrimination) and Chitta (the impressions – not thoughts – that we have accumulated). M is for Manas, the sensory process.

What is Spirituality?

In this meditation from December 2008, Kriyananda provides clearer insight to the concept of Spirituality. Using the example of the mythical Neptune’s trident, the left point can be viewed as the mind energy and the right as the body energy. The longer and more forceful middle point is astral or spiritual energy. It is there that we go to commune with Spirit to move away from the mind-body emotional needs to something of higher value.

New Year Message

In this New Year Meditation from 2005, Goswami Kriyananda explains that our mind-body complex is an instrument that we need to learn to play with skill and inspiration. Our instrument will only create beautiful music as we gain mastery over it. Practice yoga to generate beauty for yourself and those around you.
