“To be born here on earth, with all its difficulties, there is a purpose,” says Goswami Kriyananda. “And maybe the purpose is to recognize that despite my pain, there are others with greater pain. Despite my loss, there are others with far, far greater loss.” Our pain and difficulty should allow us to understand and to seek to help those who are suffering. “But even in this difficult time I want to say to you, life is beautiful,” Kriyananda says. “And I think that most people are beautiful.”
